2. All-Orchestra Concert at Dexter High School's Center for the Performing Arts

3. Composting Class at the Dexter District Library

The Dexter District Library is hosting the second in a three-part series of free gardening classes taught by Master Gardener Melissa Kestersen. Class is Wednesday at 7 p.m. and registration is required. Call the library at 734-426-4477 for more information. You did not need to attend the first class in order to attend the other classes.
4. Dexter Rotary Club Fundraiser for Japanese Relief at Dexter’s Pub
The , along with will host a fundraiser for the disaster relief effort in Japan from 11 a.m.-11 p.m. Thursday. The club’s goal is to raise funds to purchase emergency Shelter Boxes for victims of the March 11 earthquake and subsequent tsunami and nuclear crises. The pub will donate 10 percent of patrons' bills to the relief effort.
5. Meet with state Rep. Mark Ouimet
Local residents can visit with state Rep. Mark Ouimet, R-District 52, on Friday from 7:30-8:30 a.m. at the Grand Traverse Pie Company in Scio Township to discuss issues affecting the district.
