Fourth of July Forecast for Dexter Shows Clear Skies

Warm temperatures and clear skies through tonight will make for perfect weather for Independence Day activities.

Meteorologists are predicting warm weather and clear skies that will be perfect for outdoor activities during the Fourth of July holiday.

Temperatures are expected to peak near 84 degrees Monday as clear skies are predicted throughout the day and into the evening, according to the National Weather Service. The temperature will drop to about 63 degrees Monday night, with winds about 9 mph.

Meteorologists with the National Weather Service in White Lake said a high pressure system is expected to move into Southeast Michigan Monday, but early morning observations indicate pleasant levels of humidity should persist throughout the day.

High clouds over the area will leave the area just after sunrise Monday, allowing for substantial surface heating, which can be expected to boost temperatures into the mid 80s.

"The result will be ideal conditions for outdoor activity during the July 4th Holiday," meteorologists said on the weather service's website.
