1. Fifth Annual Ya'ssoo Greek Festival

Where/when: Friday, 11 a.m. to midnight; Saturday, 11 a.m. to midnight; Sunday, noon to 6 p.m. St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church, 3109 Scio Church Rd. in Ann Arbor.

Why go?: Enjoy live music, entertainment and authentic Greek food throughout the weekend.

Pricing: $3 after 4 p.m. on Friday and after 1 p.m. on Saturday. Free for children 12 and younger. Free admission all day Sunday.

2. "Bee on Board for Literacy" Spelling Bee

Where/when: Washtenaw Community College, 4800 E. Huron River Dr. in Ann Arbor; Friday at 7 p.m.

Why go?: Join the fun as up to 18 teams of three dauntless, doughty, stalwart adults, sponsored by local companies, organizations, and individuals, compete for the championship trophy while audience members cheer them on.

3. Friends of the Dexter District Library Used Book Sale

Where/when: , Saturday, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Why go? Browse the latest books for sale while helping out programs at the Dexter District Library.

4. Performance Network presents Next Fall

Where/when: 8 p.m. Friday, 3 and 8 p.m. Saturday, and 2 p.m. Sunday at the Performance Network Theatre, 120 E. Huron St. in Ann Arbor.

Why go?: Next Fall tells the story of two gay men - an atheist and a devoutly religious man - who’ve work through their differences over the course of five years when an accident forces one man to look to the other’s family for support and answers.

Pricing: $27-$41 a ticket

5. Ham and Antique Radio Swap

Where/when: Chelsea Community Fairgrounds, 20501 Old US-12, Sunday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Why go?: The Chelsea Amateur Radio Club will offer hourly door prizes and a grand prize of a mobile amateur radio transceiver.
