Michigan Academy of Dance & Music Hosts Halloween Party for Dexter Youth

Children can participate in pumpkin decorating, costume contests and games Sunday.

Ghosts and goblins will haunt the Michigan Academy of Dance & Music in Dexter on Sunday during the sixth annual Halloween party.

The event will take place from 4-6 p.m. and will feature children's games, dancing, crafts and a costume contest.

"It's everything that kids want to do," said Janice Sokansanj, academy director. "They can dress up, play games and celebrate Halloween in a safe environment with their friends."
