Updated: Power Restored to Most in Dexter Area
The winter storm has left many people in the dark Wednesday.
Power has been restored to most people in the Dexter area as of Thursday morning. According to the DTE Outage Map, just 275 customers are still without power, down from 3,000 on Wednesday.
Power outages at Dexter Community Schools caused evening education programs and the high school band concert to be canceled Wednesday night. The schools also had a snow day Wednesday.
Many readers commented on Dexter Patch's Facebook page that their power had gone on and off several times during the day Wednesday.
