The event allows pet owners to enjoy an afternoon of socializing in the club's bar while dogs take one last dip in the pool before it closes for the season. Because chlorine has been removed from the pool, swimming is open to pets only. All dogs must be kept on a leash when not in the pool. To reserve a spot, e-mail mike@annarborcc.com.

"Due to popular demand we are delighted to end a wonderful summer season by opening the pool one last time  to our four legged friends," Deborah Mondro, marketing and event coordinator said.

In addition to the Doggie Swim, the country club will begin early bird fall fitness classes at its fitness center on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6-7 a.m.

The club is open to the public. No membership is required. There will be 16 sessions for $190. To reserve a spot, call 734-395-5056 or e-mail Diane Wentland at a2animal@aol.com.
