Key to awesomeness: Luke has been skiing since he was 3. At the Caberfae Peaks spring festival, Luke competed against 10 men in the ski open and about 20 competitors in snowboarding. Each competitor took two runs and was scored on the best one. Scoring was based on difficulty and execution of the tricks. This was his second competition of the season. He also competed in the Sun and Snow Rail Jam in Ann Arbor in February, where he also did well.

Luke said he hopes to become the best skier in the world. His favorite skiers are Bobby Brown, Simon Dumont and his father, Steve.
