The Dexter High School junior will construct garden beds for his Eagle Scout project.

School:
Accomplishment: Daniel will construct raised garden beds at the Dexter Village Community Garden, located off of Dan Hoey Road, for individuals with impaired mobility. Project planning, fundraising and construction will be organized by Daniel to meet the requirements of the Eagle Scout rank in the Boy Scouts of America.

"I wanted to do something for the village and also help people who are impaired to become self-sufficient and grow their own vegetables," Daniel said.
Construction on the project is expected to start in June.

Key to awesomeness: In addition to Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts, Daniel has been involved with the Dexter High School Drama Club, marching band and jazz band.
