Powerful Storm Winds Knock Out Power to 500 in Dexter
Power should be restored by tonight, DTE officials said.
Wind gusts of 34 miles an hour have knocked out power to roughly 559 residents in Dexter, according to DTE Energy.
The outage has affected the west side of Main Street and the surrounding residential properties near Broad and Main streets.
DTE Energy officials said power should be restored this evening around 7 p.m. To report an outage, visit the DTE website or download the DTE outage app on your Android or iPhone smartphone. Using the app, DTE Energy customers can report power outages, view the status of a reported problem and explore a map illustrating the number of outages reported throughout the area.
