Santa Tracker: Where to Find the Big Guy in Dexter on Saturday

Want to take your kids to see Santa? Check out the map we put together of all the spots he'll hit during "Home for the Holidays."

What's more exciting and/or terrifying for a kid than meeting Santa Claus?

If you want to get a photo you'll cherish or give your child a shot to tell Santa what he or she wants for Christmas, here's where you can find the big guy around Dexter this weekend.

  • : Children can enjoy breakfast with Santa at Loreen's Village Café from 8:30-10:30 a.m. Breakfast is open to everyone, with a specially priced children's $1.99 menu.
  • Come have your picture taken with Santa at the gazebo in Monument Park from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. There will be surprise visits from other holiday characters as well.
  • : Children can visit with Santa as parents shop for their Christmas gifts at the Dexter Heritage Guild's annual . Santa will pay a visit to the museum between 10:30 a.m. and noon. Parents are asked to bring their own camera to take pictures. There will also be tickets available for a drawing of an original wall painting and handmade market basket.
  • Gordon Hall: The home of Judge Samuel Dexter, founder of Dexter Village, will be decorated in a Victorian-style Christmas theme between noon and 6 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Children can visit with Santa and take photos in an antique sleigh.
