1. The Lewis and Clark Expedition

  • When: Saturday, April 13, 2013, 10:00 am
  • Where: Dexter District Library, 3255 Alpine St, Dexter
  • What: Come celebrate Thomas Jefferson’s birthday with naturalist and historian Randy Baker’s presentation on the Lewis & Clark expedition!   Learn the purpose of the expedition, its role in the development of the United States as we know it today and how Thomas Jefferson helped make it happen.

2. Saline New Horizons Band Looking for Musicians and Potential Musicians

  • When: Tuesday, April 9, 2013, 7:00 pm
  • Where: 7265 Saline Ann Arbor Rd, Saline
  • What: Saline has a very active New Horizons Band, serving the Saline area, Saline School Communities and Washtenaw County. The Saline New Horizons Band 2013 is resuming practice for a new season of Music, Fun, and Community Service. The Band invites all who play instruments, or would like to learn to play to join them this season.

3. Chelsea Spring Expo

  • When: Saturday, April 13, 2013, 10:00 am
  • Where: 500 Washington St, Chelsea
  • What: Stop by the Chelsea Wellness Center table at the Chelsea Spring Expo for a chance to win a three month membership, an hour massage or an hour personal training session. The Expo highlights local businesses, non-profits and organizations. It is a family friendly event that is a celebration of or community and all that it has to offer for senior citizens, kids and everyone inbetween. This event will be held at the Washington Street Education Center on April 13th from 10-3pm.
