Washtenaw County Salvation Army Seeks Volunteers for Annual Red Kettle Campaign

Groups or individuals can sign up for holiday shifts beginning Nov. 9.

The Salvation Army of Washtenaw County (TSA-WC) is seeking volunteers for the 2012 Red Kettle Campaign.

This year's Red Kettle goal of $330,000 will help provide the essential services throughout the year to those in need in Washtenaw County.

“With Ann Arbor’s poverty rate at 24 percent, we expect the demand for assistance to continue increasing,” said Major John Williams. “Every dollar donated in Washtenaw County helps us provide important services to people right here in this community.”
