Christmas Holiday Bazaar

• When: 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday
• Pricing: Free
• Why Go: It's a bazaar weekend with all that's going on, including this one by the Dexter Heritage Guild, featuring toys, gifts, crafts, needlework, baked goods and more. Also going on in terms of crafts is the Dexter Senior Center's holiday bazaar, and the Girl Scout bazaar at St. Andrew's, both also happening 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday. Shop for sweets, unique gifts, seasonal items and used deal bargains. Be sure to keep an eye out for Santa, as he'll be around, too.

Dexter Library Used Book Sale

• When: 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday
• Pricing: Free to look
• Why Go: Help the library and its programs by shopping at the Friends of the Dexter District Library's used book sale. You'll find great deals on books and more.

Holiday Hustle 5K & 1 Mile Fun Run

• Where:
• When: 4:15-6:30 p.m. Saturday
• Pricing: For the 5K, under 18 $30. Participants ages 18 and older are $35 race weekend.
• Why Go: Enjoy a fun run, walk or race at the Holiday Hustle 5K and 1-mile fun run. You'll burn off a few holiday cookies and do a good deed since the event benefits area charities. The course passes neighborhood light displays, so it'll be a pretty route, and there will be raffle drawings. Bring a nonperishable food item and you could win gift cards, gear and more.
