Weekend Countdown: 'Wildlife of the Americas' Program Comes to Dexter Library

A live animal show will take place at the Dexter District Library on Friday.

We're midweek and a relaxing (we hope) weekend is almost in sight. We know you like to plan and have something to look forward to on a quiet, post-holiday weekend. On Monday we told you about the bird hike at Hudson Mills, and yesterday we pitched a family-friendly film event, a viewing of the 1979 Muppets Movie at the Michigan Theater.

Today we suggest:

Wildlife of the Americas

  • When: 11 a.m. Friday

  • Why Go: The library hosts a special live animal program, perfect for all ages, where Randy Baker of Naturalist Endeavors will present "Wildlife of the Americas." Come in and visit with the critters. Call 734-426-4477 if you have questions.

Visit with us again tomorrow for more weekend things-to-do.
