Where to Find Santa and Other Holiday Fun Near Dexter

Santa Claus has been all over the place, paying visits to , and other spots in Dexter. And he's still around, waiting to hear a few last requests before he returns to the North Pole and starts making his rounds.

Here are ideas for a last consultation with St. Nick. (Hint: He's probably at the mall, hearing children's lists, and possibly picking up something last minute for Mrs. Claus, because that elf-made stuff doesn't fly with her.)

Santa will be at Briarwood Mall, in the Von Maur corridor, through Dec. 24. Kris Kringle's hours will be from 10 a.m.-8 p.m. through Friday, with breaks from 1-1:45 p.m. and 4:30-5:30 p.m. On Christmas Eve he'll be in-house from 9 a.m.-5 p.m., breaking from 1-1:45 p.m. Fancy a souvenir? While you're at the mall, feel free to pop in by Macy's for the third annual Beyond Bells, featuring live performances daily to support the Salvation Army's Red Kettle Campaign.

Santa and Mrs. Claus Come to the Saline Winter Farmers Market

Where: Saline Winter Farmers Market, Liberty School, 7265 Saline Ann Arbor Rd.
When: 9 a.m.-noon, Saturday
Why go?: Whether you need a few last-minute items for setting the holiday table, be it cheese, coffee beans, baked goods or a slew of other goodies, the Saline Winter Farmers Market won't let you down. And since it's Christmas Eve, they'll have two special guests: Santa and Mrs. Claus will be in attendance for holiday cheer and to hear a few last-minute requests.

Family Movie Fun

Where:
When: 11 a.m., Friday
