An Italian dinner and silent auction to benefit Habitat for Humanity will take place at Dexter United Methodist Church from 4:30 to 7 p.m. Feb. 23.
Menu includes salad, chicken cacciatore, lasagna, pizza, pastas, marinara and Alfredo sauces, beverages and dessert. Proceeds will support renovation of two homes, which Habitat for Humanity will sell at affordable prices to qualified buyers.
The auction opens at 3 p.m. Items to be auctioned include gift certificates, lessons, home maintenance projects such as painting a room, vacation rentals, handcrafted wooden items, and homemade pies and desserts by award-winning local bakers.
