St. James Episcopal Church Concert

 On Sunday, October 13th, at 4:00, Dr.Aya Higuchi, a teacher in the University of Michigan Piano Pedagogy Program, will present a program of piano works by Bach, Mozart, Scarlatti, Messiaen and others. Dr.Higuchi, a native of Japan, received her degree in Music from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and a Doctor of Musical Arts and Master of Music in Piano Pedagogy and Performance from the University of Michigan. She has performed in Japan, Italy, Prague and the United States, winning numerous awards in various piano competitions. The concert is free, with a food donation to Faith in Action at the door. It will be followed by a Harvest Dinner in the church social hall, where all are invited.
