State of the Huron Conference, Creating Our Own Blue Future celebrates the Huron River
Learn how the river provides residents with a sense of place and drives recreation, eco-tourism, economic development and social culture in our communities. Talks and workshops presents the Huron’s role in our state’s Blue Economy, River Science and Policy, and Managing the River’s Future Health. Organized by the Huron River Watershed Council (HRWC), the keynote speakers are Amy and Dave Freeman, outdoor adventure educators, and John Austin, Director of the Michigan Economic Center. 8:30am-4:30pm (Check-in/Breakfast at 7:30am) Open to the public. Cost is $65 per person ($40 for HRWC members)
