The Orphan Train in Michigan

Did you know that 12,500 orphans from the New York and Boston area were placed in Michigan homes during the years between 1854-1927?
Research Historians and television producers, Al and David Eicher, have spent a year and a half compiling stories and photographs of this little know part of Michigan History. Join them at the Dexter District Library for a video documentary and lecture.
