Changes Made to Dexter's Trash, Recycling Pick-Up

Look for even more information in you mailbox this April.

Several changes have been made to the Village of Dexter's trash and recycling collection, according to the Village website.

The village recently renewed its waste management contract, which has no increase for one year, followed by a 1 percent increase in the second year and a 2 percent increase in the third year.

According to the website, residents can now put their recycling in a container of their choice. Containers other than a green recycling bin must be marked with a sticker, which can be picked up at the Village offices or requested by sending an e-mail to cnicholls@dextermi.gov or calling 734-426-8303 x17.
