Dexter Community Education Lacrosse Registration Now Open

Dexter Community Education has opened registration for Lacrosse for boys in grades 3-6 and girls in grades 5-8. Register online at onlinedexter.com or by calling 734-424-4180.

Registration has begun for Dexter Community Education Lacrosse.  This year we will offer programs for girls in grades 5-8 and boys in grade 3-6 in conjuction with the Dexter Lacrosse Club.  A complete schedule for all programs will be available the first week of practice.  Visit our website at onlinedexter.com to register.  All programs are $165.

Boys in grades 3-4 will compete in an instructional program and play will be in house.  Students will receive a foundation of skills to prepare them for the next level.  Students will receive a starter kit of equipment, shorts and a t-shirt.  Practice is twice a week with 5-6 games scheduled.  Program will be staffed by Dexter Varsity Lacrosse players.  Goalie gear is provided.  Starts 3/18 at Bates field after school on Mondays and Wednesdays weather permitting.

Boys in grades 5-6 will compete in a travel program.  Students are required to supply their own equipment, but shorts and a T-shirt are included in the fee.  In addition, these players will have uniforms that remain part of the program.  Games will be played at local schools like Saline, Brighton, Ann Arbor or South Lyon as well as some home contests.  Goalie gear is provided.  Practices are Mondays and Wednesdays after school and begin 3/18 weather permitting. 

This year we will offer a Lacrosse program for girls in grades 5 &6.  This program will be an instructional program with some opportunities to play other communities, but not a full travel experience.  Equipment (goggles and a stick) are not provided, but students will receive a skort and T-Shirt.  Goalie gear is provided.  Practies are twice a week on Tuesdays and Thursdays  after school with contests (in house or travel) scheduled.  Begins 3/18 weather permitting.

Our 7&8 grade girls’ will compete in a travel program.  Girls of all skill level are welcome to play.  We will have great coaching to get all the girls  ready to play.  Equipment (Goggles and a stick) are not provided, but the fee does include a skort and T-shirt.  This team also has jerseys and goalie gear provided.  Practices are 5 days a week from 5-6:30 with games scheduled outside of that time.
