Gloria June Foster, 72, of Chelsea, formerly of Youngstown, Ohio, and Alexandria and Stafford, VA. died on Dec. 8, 2012 at the Chelsea Retirement Community.
She was born April 20, 1940 in Youngstown, Ohio, the daughter of Vias and Violet Amelia (Wood) Harris.
On May 28, 1960, she married Bob Foster in Alexandria, VA., and he preceded her in death on Sept. 8, 2012. Survivors include a daughter, Laura (John) Thorhauer of Chelsea; a son, Bob (Diana) of Fredericksburg, VA.; three grandchildren, Casey Foster, Travis Foster and Kirsten Thorhauer; and many nieces and nephews.

In accordance with her family's wishes, a local service will not be held.
Burial will take place at Quantico National Cemetery, Triangle, VA.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests a memorial contribution to UMRC Heritage Foundation, 805 W. Middle St, Chelsea, MI. 48118 (c/o Howard S. Holmes Endowment).
