Raymond Paul Chlebek, 67, of Dexter, died on Monday, Feb. 25, 2013 at his home in Dexter.
Ray was born on May 29, 1945, in Uniontown, PA. to Anna and Stanley W. Chlebek. He was a beloved husband to Cathy, loving father and father-in-law to Jennifer and Robert (Bob) Flisher, and proud, dedicated grandfather of Chasen and Alexander (Xan) Flisher.
He was the brother of Stanley, Edward, Thomas, Vincent, and Theresa. He is preceded in death by both parents and a brother, Henry.

Ray was an industrial arts teacher at Monroe Public Schools for 33 years until he retired in 2002. He was passionate about sports, coaching football, community activism, and most importantly, family. He was a member of the Dexter Lions Club.
A memorial service was held on Feb. 28, at Staffan-Mitchell Funeral Home in Chelsea, with Rev. Joy Barrett officiating. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the Dexter Lions Club.
