Letter to the Editor: Vote for Barbara Read for Dexter School Board III

Dear Editor,

I first met Barbara Read in the Bates Elementary School library where we both volunteered on a weekly basis. I was impressed by how much of her own time she gave to volunteer at multiple schools in the district.

Over the past few years I have realized that Barbara works tirelessly as an advocate for her own children as well as all the children in the school district.

She is very well-informed about school policies and practices as a result of attending many school board meetings. She is also extremely bright; when I have a pressing question about child development, I know that she is the person to ask.

Barbara is an excellent listener and I can tell that she really processes the information she receives before she comes to a conclusion and returns an answer. I highly value her opinion because I know she values my opinion too.

Barbara Read is my first choice for the Dexter School Board.
