iPhone, Skateboard Stolen from Unlocked Cars in Dexter

The following information was supplied by the Washtenaw County Sheriff's Department. Arrests do not indicate a conviction.

Larceny from an Automobile

On Aug. 23, deputies with the Washtenaw County Sheriff's Office were dispatched to the 7000 block of Quakenbush Road in Dexter Village. Upon arrival, deputies were informed an unknown person  entered an unlocked vehicle and removed an Apple iPhone. No suspect information is available. The case is closed pending further investigative leads.

Deputies were dispatched to the 13000 block of Orchard Court in Dexter Township on Aug. 26 in response to a vehicle theft. According to police reports, unknown suspects entered a unlocked vehicle and stole a skateboard from the back seat.

On Aug. 31 deputies responded to a larceny complaint near the 2000 block of Melbourne in the Village of Dexter. According to police records, the homeowner reported seeing a man enter his vehicle. Once the suspect realized he had been spotted, he ran away from the area.  No suspect information is available.

Vehicle Theft

Officers were dispatched to the 11000 block of Territorial Road in Dexter Township to investigate a vehicle theft on Aug. 26. According to police reports, unknown suspects stole a Honda CRF 250cc motorcycle from the front yard sometime between Aug. 25 and Aug. 26. No suspect information is available.
