Police Blotter: Deputies Make Warrant Arrests

Here's a look at police activity in the Dexter and Scio area this week.

Warrant Arrests

  • On Wednesday, deputies patrolling Scio Township were conducting traffic enforcement when they arrested a suspect in the area of 4000 Eyrie Dr. for a warrant out of Ann Arbor. Contact with the subject was made at approximately 7:45 p.m. The deputies identified the subject and confirmed the validity of the arrest warrant. The subject was taken into custody, according to reports.
  • On Wednesday, deputies patrolling Scio Township were conducting traffic enforcement when they arrested a suspect in the area of Jackson Road and Jackson Industrial Drive. The suspect was identified by deputies and determined to have multiple arrest warrants for driving with an illegal license and improper vehicle plates, according to reports.
  • On April 1, deputies assigned to the Dexter area were conducting an investigation in the 7000 block of Ann Arbor Street when they encountered a subject with warrants for fraud, according to reports. The subject was identified and arrested and taken to the Washtenaw County Jail.

Burglary

On Saturday, at approximately 12:45 p.m., deputies assigned to the Dexter area were dispatched to the 9400 block of Linck Road in Dexter Township in response to a home invasion complaint. Deputies determined entry to the residence was gained through a side, ground-floor window. The victim reported discovering that a television had been stolen (unknown make/model number). No suspect information was available as of publication time. The case is under investigation.
