Police Seek Suspects in Scio Township Tractor Supply Store Burglary

Two Trail Wagon Runabout utility vehicles were removed from the property on Jackson Road.

The Washtenaw County Sheriff's Office is investigating a burglary at the Tractor Supply Co. in Scio Township that occured Monday.

According to a press release, deputies were dispatched to the business, located at 7251 Jackson Road, around 2 a.m. in response to a reported burglary alarm.

Upon arrival, the deputies discovered an unknown individual had cut the cable securing products stored outside the store and removed a Trail Wagon Runabout light utility vehicle, according to the report.

About an hour and a half after deputies were at the scene, they were sent back when the same exterior alarm was set off again.

Deputies discovered a second utility vehicle of the same model was removed from the property.

Both of the Trail Wagon Runabout utility vehicles are model number TW200 and are black in color.

No suspect information has been released and the case remains under investigation.
