Power Generators, Tools Stolen from Dexter Township Business

The sheriff's office is investigating two recent burglaries in western Washtenaw County.

The Washtenaw County Sheriff's Office is seeking the public's help to catch unknown suspects who allegedly stole several tools from a Dexter Township business.

According to a Nixle Alert from the sheriff, on Jan. 29, a deputy was dispatched to the 8500 block of North Territorial Road for the report of a break in that occurred overnight. The suspect or suspects forced entry into the business through a back door, along with forcing entry into outside storage sheds. Numerous generators, yard tools and cash were removed from the property.

On Feb. 8 a deputy was dispatched to the 7400 block of Walsh Road in Webster Township for the report of a home invasion that occurred during the day. The suspect or suspects forced entry into the residence by kicking in a rear entry door. No items were stolen.

There are no suspects at this time in either incident, but the investigations are ongoing.
