Washtenaw County Sheriff's Office Honors Neighborhood Watch Program Volunteers

A dinner for neighborhood watch program coordinators is scheduled for January.

The Washtenaw County Sheriff’s Office is hosting an upcoming Neighborhood Watch coordinator’s dinner at the end of January.

Neighborhood Watch coordinators who reside in a township or village covered by the sheriff, can contact Dep. Hansen at Hansenn@ewashtenaw.org for more information.

"It is only through volunteer-power that the Washtenaw County Sheriff's Office is able to provide many programs and services vital to the citizens of Washtenaw County as well as jail inmates and their families," the department said in a press release.

Past events have recognized Neighborhood Watcch oordinators, reserve deputies, Christian volunteers, literacy support groups, substance abuse resistance coaches, and the Sheriff's Mounted Unit.
