Woman Reports Purse Stolen from Car in Scio Township

Deputies with the Washtenaw County Sheriff's Office are investigating a theft of a woman's purse taken from a parked car sometime between 11 p.m. and midnight on Monday in the 3000 block of Walnut Ridge in Scio Township.

According to police, the victim reported the theft after discovering her purse missing from inside the car, which was left unattended for a period of 45 minutes. The vehicle was unlocked and no forced entry was made. The purse contained cash and other misc items.

There are no suspects at this time.
