Dexter Village officials are reminding residents to clear sidewalks of snow and ice within 48 hours of snow cessation.
According to the village's sidewalk ordinance, business owners should also clear sidewalks within four hours of snow cessation or by the start of the business day.
Residents should also make sure that fire hydrants around their home or business are cleared of snow, accessible and visible from the street as soon as possible after a snow storm to help the fire department.
