Dexter Village Unveils New, Improved Website

The new site includes searchable links for government documents, an improved events calendar, and a business directory, among other features.

The village of Dexter unveiled its new website via an email announcement on Friday.

The website was designed by Lansing-based company Ciesa Design, the creators behind the Michigan.org website, and the Gleaner's Food Drive website. It includes updated links to the village's services, government documents, an improved calendar of events, and a business directory, among other features.

"The credit for this project really goes to the hard work of Village Treasurer Marie Sherry, Assistant Village Manager Courtney Nicholls, and former Trustee Jim Smith," village president Shawn Keough said.

According to Keough, the site has been under construction for roughly a year, with a focus on providing a better content management system and information for users.

"Our old website served us well, but this new site gives us another tool to communicate with as many people as possible," he said.
