Election Breakdown: How Did Dexter Residents Vote?

Here is a quick glance at how Dexter area voters cast their ballots in Tuesday's election.

Tuesday's election still has many people scratching their heads. In terms of turnout, roughly 7,000 less voters showed up at the polls across Washtenaw County.

While one vote might not have the power to sway a presidential election, it certainly has a large impact locally.

Here is a look at how the Dexter area voted on several key candidates.

Dexter Village

The race for Dexter Village trustee literally came down to who had the most votes. Paul Cousins had 1,050 votes, followed by Julie Knight (1,033), Joe Semifero (910), and Jim Smith (906).
