State Rep. Mark Ouimet, R-Scio Township, will host a town hall meeting tonight at Liberty School gymnasium, 7265 Saline-Ann Arbor Road, in Saline. The purpose of the meeting is to discuss oil and gas drilling currently taking place in Washtenaw County as well as the pros and cons of hydraulic fracturing.
Hal Fitch of the Michigan Department of Environmental Quality, James Clift of the Michigan Environmental Council, and Gregory J. Vadnais and Mark Bailey of Paxton Resources will also be present at the meeting.
