National Weather Service Predicts Snow Overnight

A winter weather advisory warns of up to 3 inches of snow between 3 a.m. and noon Monday.

Winter is taking a curtain call, according to a winter advisory issued by the National Weather Service Sunday afternoon for the following counties: Wayne, Oakland, Washtenaw, Livingston, Lenawee and Monroe.

Expect 1 to 3 inches of snow to fall between 3 a.m. and noon Monday.

The high winds experienced today will continue through the early evening and intermittently through the middle of the week.

Monday morning’s snow will turn to thunderstorms with the possibility of more snow and rain on Tuesday, according to the weather advisory.
