The Dexter Village Council is holding a public meeting at 7:30 p.m. tonight at the . Here is a preview of selected agenda items that will likely be discussed at the meeting. The council meeting will be preceded by a work session at 6 p.m. to discuss refining the village's engineering standards for construction.

  • The village council will consider a site plan for the Dexter Wellness Center. The center's site plan was originally approved in 2007 but the project was never constructed. The Dexter Wellness Center is located within the Baker Road Corridor. The applicant is proposing to construct a 48,000 square foot facility.
  • The village council will discuss plans to fund construction of a sidewalk along Dexter-Pinckney Road to Westridge Drive near the intersection of Dexter-Pinckney Road and Island Lake Road. The sidewalk with connect Gordon Hall and the Cedars of Dexter to the existing sidewalk in the Westridge subdivision.
  • The village council will consider the Arts, Culture and Heritage Committee's public art plan revisions.
