Patch Readers Vote Alpha Coney Island For Best Brunch in Dexter

When it comes to dining out for breakfast in Dexter, one restaurant continues to dominate among customers.

In our , nine voters cast their ballots for the restaurant that was best suited for breakfast/brunch in Dexter.

is known for its breakfast, lunch and dinner specials, but the service staff says breakfast by far is the most popular among customers.

"Everyone always comments on how good the breakfast is here," Andrea Bedolla said.

Bedolla has been working at the restaurant for the past two years and said she enjoys the friendly atmosphere.

"We have some real loyal customers," she said. "I like working here; it's a good environment."

Fellow employee Christy Chamberlain said some customers are twice a day visitors to the eatery.

"We know most of the customers by their first name, and we know what they eat and drink, so when they come in, we already have their order in to the kitchen," she said.

Chamberlain said it's nice to see customers recognize the efforts of the entire restaurant staff.

"They always compliment us when they are here dining. I'm glad to hear that what we do is appreciated," she said.

The restaurant will serve Easter brunch from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. on April 7. Brunch items include deep fried French toast, spinach and onion eggs benedict, Crepes Benedict, roast beef stew, glazed ham or grilled tuna.
