Dexter Baton Twirlers Score High in State Competition
Emma and Molly Ripka of Dexter competed in the twirling competition on Feb. 2 in Ida.
Emma and Molly Ripka of Dexter competed in a baton twirling competition on Feb. 2 in Ida.
Emma received 1st place in beginner basic march, 1st place in special beginner solo, and 3rd place in novice solo. Molly placed 2nd in beginner basic march, 2nd in special beginner solo, and 4th in novice solo.
The girls are students in Dexter’s after school baton class, taught by former champion Jenney Gordon.
