"This is the first concert of its type that we have ever held," said Kenneth Moore, director of bands for DHS. "The Dexter, Saline and Chelsea band programs would like to take turns hosting this type of event every few years."

For its performance, Moore said Dexter's 68 symphony members will perform "Schottische and Cakewalk" from The Suite of Old American Dances by Robert Russell Bennett, "Ghost Train" by Eric Whitacre and "Imperial March" from Star Wars by John Williams.
