Preparing for College Writing Workshop

The event takes place in Room 410 for students in grades 9 through 12. The presenters are Kelly Guthrie and Joy Versluis.

Guthrie is a lecturer at Eastern Michigan University teaching first-year composition classes and working as a writing consultant and workshop facilitator in the University Writing Center.

Versluis teaches writing and literature courses at Eastern Michigan University as well as working with the Writing Across the Curriculum program and the University Writing Center.  Previously, she taught middle school and high school students. As the mother of five children, she knows the delightful and important role reading and writing play in young people's lives.
