Dexter Girls Basketball Wins Regional Final at the Buzzer

Riley McDonald hit a 3-pointer at the buzzer to win the game in overtime.

It could not have been a more exciting finish for Dexter's varsity girls basketball team Thursday as Riley McDonald hit a 3-point shot at the buzzer to win the regional title.

Dexter won the game over Farmington Hills Harrison in overtime with a final score of 37-34.

Dexter now heads to the Class A quarterfinals, where the Dreadnaughts will take on Saginaw Heritage. The game is scheduled for Tuesday at 7 p.m. at Davison, according to the MHSAA website.
