Dexter Offense Drives Past Saline for 5-2 Victory

The Dexter High School varsity hockey team defeated Saline on Jan. 23.

A combination of strategy and offense helped power the Dexter Dreadnaught varsity hockey team to a 5-2 win over the Saline Hornets on Jan. 23.

"In our 5-2 win against Saline, we had a solid team performance," coach Brian Sipotz said. "Tristin Rojeck had three goals in the game, all in the third period. We are playing better hockey now than we did at the beginning of the season when Saline beat us 6-5 in overtime."

The Dreadnaughts will take on Toledo St. John's Academy at Veteran's Memorial Stadium in Ann Arbor at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
