Dreadnaughts Lose Home Opener to Fowlerville

The Dexter High School varsity football team lost 29-0 against Fowlerville on Friday.

The Dexter Dreadnaughts were dealt a crushing blow on Friday during their season opener against Fowlerville.

Dexter's varsity football team lost 29-0 against the Gladiators, according to MLive.

The two teams were held scoreless in the first quarter, however Fowlerville's offense kicked in the second quarter, with a 15-point lead over Dexter. The team scored two more times in the third and fourth quarter to clench the game.

Dexter will take on Ann Arbor Skyline High School at 7 p.m. on Aug. 30.

The biggest disappointment of a 0-29 whitewashing is the sound system? Dexter needs to rethink what it wants out of its sports program.
