1860's Vintage Base Ball @ Gordon Hall

The Union Base Ball Club of Dexter will be playing their final scheduled home match of the season today on the grounds of Gordon Hall.  We play base ball as it was played in 1860, with no gloves and gentlemen rules.  2012 was our first season and we have enjoyed some success while providing residents and families from around Dexter a free, family friendly activity to attend on the weekends.  We are made up of men of varying ages and skill levels that just want to get out there and have fun.  Today our good friends from the Monitor Base Ball Club of Chelsea are visiting and we are sure to have an exciting, closely contested match!  Come out and watch base ball as it was meant to be played, for the fun of the game!  Bring a chair or blanket and let us handle the rest!
