Dexter Lacrosse-Calling Interested Middle School Girls!

Lacrosse continues to grow in Dexter, and this season Dexter Lacrosse Association is starting a 7th/8th grade girls team to build on the high school girls team established last year!  Practice starts on March 19th, and the time to register is now.

Lacrosse is unique among most of the options that young athletes have when they are looking for opportunities to play a team sport. While some sports reward players having exceptional height or strength, lacrosse emphasizes athleticism, agility, speed, and stamina, without regard for the players’ size and stature.

No previous lacrosse experience?  No problem!  Dexter Lacrosse Association will be holding an informational session for the NEW 7th/8th grade girls team followed by registration on March 10 at noon in the Mill Creek Cafeteria.  All interested girls need to attend with a parent.  Coaches and Association Board Members will be there to answer questions.  There will be information about the middle school girls team, equipment, schedule, and fees.  To register, please come prepared with copies of student’s current sports physical.  Feel free to contact Dexter Lacrosse's Craig Brosch (President@dexlax.com) or Terry Mors (VP@dexlax.com) for more information. The playing atmosphere is terrific - join “The Fastest Sport on Two Feet!”
