'Go Pink' At MSU Homecoming Game Saturday

Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan helps fans turn Spartan Stadium pink as part of breast cancer awareness month.

In an effort to increase early detection of breast cancer, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan is encouraging Spartan fans to “go pink” during Saturday’s homecoming game at Spartan Stadium.

Upon entrance to the stadium, fans will a receive a reversible “go green/go pink” or “go white/go pink” cheer card,  representative of the BCBSM/MSU partnership to bring more awareness to breast cancer and the importance of early detection.

This massive fan engagement, part of National Breast Cancer Awareness month, will turn the stadium pink during one of MSU’s biggest games of the football 2013 season. Spartan cheerleaders will also be using the cheer cards during the game to encourage the crowd to show their spirit and support.
