Western Washtenaw Basketball Association Holds Tryouts March 18
Tryouts are open to middle school and high school students in Dexter and surrounding areas.
For middle school and high school basketball players interested in competing throughout the spring, the Western Washtenaw Basketball Association AAU program will be hosting tryouts March 18 at Chelsea High School.
Tryouts for current seventh, eighth and ninth grade boys will run from 1-2:30 p.m., while the session for current sophomores and juniors, and sophomore girls, will be held from 2:30-4 p.m. The AAU season will end in late May.
There is no cost for the tryouts, but parents will need to sign medical release forms. The cost for the season is set at $250 per player, with an opportunity to reduce that amount through fundraising.
