Celtic Festival and More This Weekend in the Dexter Area

1. Saline Celtic Festival

• When: Friday, July 12, 2013, 5:30 PM
• Where: Mill Pond Park, behind Houghton School, 555 Mills Road, Saline
• What: The Saline Festival began as a result of the Sister City relationship between Saline, Michigan and Brecon Wales. It is a volunteer organization comprised of an executive committee, event chairs and many, many volunteers. Area residents are invited to become part of the organizational and volunteer efforts of the festival. We meet monthly at City Hall, where our office is located on the lower level of 100 North Harris Street. Although the Festival began as a one day event, it has grown to include many days and evenings. Whether you are a first time visitor or are returning, we welcome you. 2. Discount Rain Barrels at the Dexter Farmers Market

• When: Saturday, July 13, 2013, 8:00 AM
  
• Where: Dexter Farmers Market, Alpine Street, Downtown Dexter
• What: Great Lakes Rain Barrel is teaming up with the Village of Dexter to sell rain barrels at the Dexter Farmers Market, located on Alpine Street in downtown Dexter. The following styles/colors will be available: Charcoal (Recycled), Dark Moss, Classic Granite, Greystone, Sandstone, Terracotta. A discount on the Granite & Recycled Editions will be offered to any patrons who mention the Huron River Watershed Council's PROMO CODE: SAVE H2O at the Farmers Market, or when placing a pre-order online at www.greatlakesrainbarrel.com/products. Those discount prices are: $75 for the Recycled Charcoal or $85 for the Granite barrels, including tax.

3. Dexter Wellness Walk

• When: Saturday, July 13, 2013, 9:00 AM
• Where: The Wellness Walk starts at the Dexter Library on Alpine St.
• What: Dexter Wellness Coalition is hosting a morning walk for families in the community. Lets be healthy together!
