Things To Do Around Dexter This Weekend

Here's a look at what's happening around Dexter and beyond this weekend. Click the links for more information about each event.

1. Participate in the Dexter Wellness Walk at 9 a.m. Saturday at the Dexter Library. The event is hosted by the Dexter Wellness Coalition as a morning walk for families in the community.

2. From 1-2:30 p.m. Sunday, Susie Duncan Sexton & Roy Sexton will present "Secrets of an Old Typewriter." Author Susie Duncan Sexton will read from her book “Secrets of an Old Typewriter” as part of the Ann Arbor Arts and Culture Series. The presentation will be held at the Ann Arbor Senior Center, 1320 Baldwin Avenue. Ticket price is $5 general admission or $4 for guests 60 years and older.

3. You can help raise money for youth scholarships on Sunday at the Webster United Church of Christ Youth Car Wash. The event will be held from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. at Webster Town Hall. All money raised will help provide scholarships for youth to attend Camp Talahi.
