As a member of Rotary International, Dexter Rotary Club members enhance the greater Dexter area with directMore aid and community services. In addition to supplying a yearly playhouse for the Dexter Daze raffle, club members also support the Interact Club at Dexter High School. Interact is the student arm of Rotary International.

The club also offers opportunities for high school students to study abroad either for the summer or the academic year. Applications are typically due in mid-October and district interviews are conducted in mid-November.

Dexter Community Players is a nonprofit theater group formed in 1981, featuring both local talent from the Dexter/AnnMore Arbor area as well as actors and actresses from across the state. DCP holds open auditions and performs at the Dexter Center for the Performing Arts, a new large-capacity theater attached to Dexter High School. Dexter Flowers

Dexter Flowers is located in a red brick building with a bright red door on Main St. in downtown Dexter, Mich. TheresaMore Whitley, a Dexter High School graduate and Michigan State University alumni, bought the shop in 2008, after spending many years there as a floral artist. The shop sells a variety of plants, seasonal arrangements and bouquets, as well as designs for weddings and special events, and funerals. In addition, Dexter Flowers keeps a selection of roses, snapdragon, Birds of Paradise, Oriental lillies, seasonal tulips, and other flowers in stock.

The Dexter Community Orchestra is made up of members of the Dexter community who are dedicated to enriching the lives ofMore local residents through the arts. Now entering its sixth season, the DCO is currently looking for amateur musicians to help grow through the coming years. The group rehearses on Wednesdays from 7 to 9 pm, usually in the orchestra room at Dexter High School.
